I think he is actually an American, Richard Karpen, who is mentioned in our guidebook "Rick Steves' Scandainavia". Rick says that Mr. Karpen is a tourguide who dresses as Hans Christian Andersen while giving "daily 90-minute tours that wander in and out of buildings, courtyards, back streets, and unusual parts of the old town. Richard has an infectious love of Copenhagen."
