Amplían el plazo para designar la sede la final de la Copa Federación, a la que aspira Estepona



La Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET) ha ampliado hasta el próximo lunes, día 26 de mayo, el plazo para anunciar oficialmente la ciudad que albergará la final de la Copa Federación, que enfrentará a los equipos de España y Rusia los próximos días 12 y 13 de septiembre, una semana antes de la semifinal de la Copa Davis que disputarán los equipos de España y Estados Unidos en Madrid. Estepona está en el grupo de cinco ciudades que han presentado candidatura a la RFET para convertirse en sede del torneo femenino de combinados nacionales, Madrid, Vigo, Lérida, Jerez de la Frontera y la localidad malagueña de Estepona. / JUANJO MACÍAS
