We can now officially add Shakira to the constantly growing list of celebrities jumping into the beauty arena. WWD reports that she has accepted a deal with Barcelona-based Puig Beauty & Fashion Group to design a line of beauty, fragrance, and personal care products. Shakira said that she is excited to use her creativity in a different medium, and hopes that her line will help "personal care and beauty... be effortless and accessible for everyone."
I like Shakira a lot (how can you not love an international superstar who audits a Western Civ class at UCLA?) but I'm not sure how this endeavor will work out.
